Trails around YHA National Forest

There are so many footpaths and trails around the National Forest that you are spoilt for choice. From the Youth Hostel you can walk or cycle for miles in most directions making only minimal use of roads. There are trails suitable for children to cycle, accessible outdoor and indoor play areas and cafes, all within easy walking distance. Conkers is a short walk away, on the end of the Ashby Canal. A bit further along the canal is Moira Co-Op and in Moira village there is also a post office and 2 pubs.
